Director's Message
2025 has been a transformative and inspiring year for the Michael S. Gordon Center for Simulation and Innovation in Medical Education. Building upon our legacy of excellence and discovery, we continue to advance our mission—to improve patient outcomes through simulation, innovation, and education—with renewed purpose and global reach.
This year marked a major milestone with the launch of Harvey® Premier, the most advanced cardiopulmonary patient simulator in the Gordon Center’s history. Harvey Premier represents decades of scientific and educational advancement, integrating state-of-the-art technology to enhance realism, fidelity, and learning outcomes. Its development and worldwide debut affirms the enduring relevance of Dr. Michael Gordon’s vision: that simulation can save lives by preparing every healthcare professional to deliver skilled, confident, and compassionate care.
Our stroke education programs, including Advanced and Essential Stroke Life Support®, continued to expand across the United States and around the world—empowering multidisciplinary teams to improve acute stroke recognition and management. Through partnerships with ministries and departments of health, academic institutions, and first responder agencies, we now reach tens of thousands of learners annually in over 450 institutions and numerous countries globally.
